Hi, and thanks for visiting. I am a first- generation Gujarati American musician, collaborating sonic artist, and songwriter. I use electronic and acoustic elements to bring stories of the peripheral and third-culture experience to life.
I like to create with a framework of "musical rematriation". To me, this means listening with depth and intention, trusting myself, slowing down, using resources mindfully, understanding and integrating my physical environment(s), deepening connection to my ancestral heritage, and aligning with projects that encourage communal healing.
My compositions, productions, and performances have been featured in spaces including SXSW (Austin), Victoria and Albert Museum (London), de Young Museum (San Francisco), Proyectos Públicos (Mexico City), and Harvard Graduate School of Design (Cambridge), outdoor brands that include Red Bull, The North Face and Arc'teryx, and documentary film featured at CANNESERIES and beyond.
In addition to my work as a collaborating artist, I release experimental multi-genre music with Psychic Eye Records.
